Bliss Studio's New Intern- "Stacie"
Hello! I’m Stacie Buescher, I am a senior at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland and I am majoring in Photography. I ventured here to Portland for college, but I was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, a small suburb half and hour from Los Angeles. I tend to be laughing, smiling, and talking really fast, so it seems I’ll fit in great at Bliss!
Whitney’s five random questions for Stacie.
- Whats your favorite food?
As long at it isn’t overly spicy, I will eat it. I have the appetite of ten grown men. My favorite food of all time would have to be Marie Calanders chicken lemon bake that comes in a box. A few years ago they dicontinued selling it in grocery stores, that was a sad moment in my life.
- Whats your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memories are those when me and my three older sisters would play outside in our culd-de-sac with all our neighbors. From giving eachother covered wagons rides in our wagon to going on adventures on our giant hill in our backyard, and there was always ultimate hide and seek where we could hide anywhere in the neighborhood. The days always eneded when we had to come inside when the street light comes on.
- If you could go anywhre in the world, where would you go?
I would want to go to Genovia, yes it is a made-up country, but The Princess Diaries in one of my favorite movies and I am proud to say I know every line.
- What are three words that best discribe you?
Three words that best discribe me are tall, sarcastic, and personable.
- What is your favorite place in Portland?
The first place that I fell in love with in Portland was St. Mary’s Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. Having been raised Catholic and going to a stereo typical all-girl Catholic high school, it was important to me when I moved here to find a Catholic Churh. Four years later I am still involved with the Church and feel like I belong in the community.
